Warehouse Stores in Western Montana?
We are moving to western Montana as soon as we sell our home. We belong to Sam's Club here in PA, but there aren't any in western Montana. We like the bulk pricing, and we are "preppers" and will be even more so when we prepare for Rocky Mountain winters.
Any good warehouse / club stores in western Montana?

You may be stuck with that joke known as Costco. You can also just be happy with Wal-Mart or order stuff online.

What happened to the Sam's in Billings? Is it still there? I know Costco is.

I haven't found anything wrong with Costco except I'm disabled and they don't have the facility for disabled. If it's a good day, it's good shopping. If it's a bad day, then I shop elsewhere just because I have to.
But Costco has always had what I was looking for. But then again all I go after are staples. Not there for a new bar-b-q or a sterio.

I'm sorry to hear that they aren't more accessible for you. But staples is mostly what I'm concerned with. Canned goods, giant packs of TP and paper towels, big ol jugs of detergent and bleach... That sort of thing.
Part of the master plan is to raise as much of my own food as possible, but that's going to take a while to ramp up. In the mean time, (and even after that), I want the ability to stay home for at least a couple months if I have to in case of insane winter storms, swine flu pandemic (I will NOT be a guinea pig for their vaccines, tyvm - if anyone here remembers the Charlie Foxtrot they pulled on us in 1976)...
Anyway, I ramble now... Thanks everyone for their info! If anyone knows any other places, by all means post it!

Costco is OK but the prices are not really wholesale prices. I'm only a block and a half from a very reasonably priced IGA so I don't stock up on anything.

I fully understand. My abilities or inabilities is no big thing. Costco is a large case lot sale. Not necessarily the best in town. You can find as good of deals or maybe better deals by visiting the local stores when they have sales going on.
When I go, I get 8 bottles of shampoo, 4 packs of vitamins, 80 lbs of soap, etc. So Costco serves well for me. Course, I live in Wyoming and when I visit Montana I'm looking at no sales tax as the incentive.
