I want to Hunt, Fish and be close to COSTCO =)
Where should I move in Montana?
Kinda kidding about the Costco thing but it would be nice to NOT have to drive more than 20 mins to get some decent shopping options and perhaps a good dining experience.
mid 30's, Conservative couple. Both work online.
Help is appreciated. Thanks folks!
We are coming out to visit your wonderful state on vacation in 4 days. We plan to spend most of our time around the Flathead area where we have some family.

You could check out Columbia falls and Kalispell as there happens to be a Costco between the two. For fishing, the Main-stem Flathead River has a floating section between Columbia Falls and Kalispell. It's fairly fast but with no whitewater rapids and that stretch can have fantastic fishing.
Flathead Lake has humongous Macs and they're pretty easy to catch. In the spring they come close to shore but in the summer it's best to troll deep with a down-rigger and fish finder. Bring your fishing gear because you don't need a Montana fishing licence or any fishing licence for that matter to fish in Glacier National Park.

The only drawback to the Kali area is the dense trees! I've hunted a few times over there and lost too many shots because of trees. You can get scary close to the elk because of the cover but end up shooting a monster pine!

I can't tell you the number of times that I plugged a good old pine tree. It happens. But the ones that make it through.......
