Colleges, in the case of Missoula and Bozeman, can have an effect on the make up of a community, as well as other institutions.

I want to get a snowmobile once I get established up there. I went snowmobiling once and man it's a work out. Before I thought snowmobiling was just sitting and just press go lol boy I was wrong heehee! Got stuck many times but lucky I had a couple of friends to get me out. I need to get rid of my fear factor of riding a snowmobile on high slopes too!
Heh... the fist thing a person learns on a snowmobile is usually what not to do! I've been BAD stuck a couple times also.. I rolled one down a 60' gorge a few years back and had to dig in overnight before I could get out! Once my boys get a bit older and I can save some $$ I want a different machine. I still ride an old ElTigre! (with some *ahem* minor modifications.. You should see the people on their fancy new machines scratch their head in wonder of where we go on that thing.

Good luck with your move..

Thank you! Lmao! Yeah definitely learned what not to do Overnight! Dang I coud not imagine! I'm definitely not going alone! I was wondering, I have my Road Atlas Map of Montana and I wondering if there are any towns up in the Bull Mountains Or Pryor Mountains or are they to steep to actually drive up and sight see? Bull Mountains I see to the North of billings and the pryer mountains to the south um looks like Billings is only surrounded on 2 sides by mountains am I correct?

So what naughty things did you do to it? Use small words, all I know about snowmobiles is that when I'd see one, it was usually upsidedown, or being chased off a wheat field by an angry farmer!

Just risers, skags, 1.5" track and some exhaust work..and my homeade mounted field kit where I carry stuff. It's not as powerful as some of the new ones, but it works for me!

One think I really like in some of the newer sleds is the reverse setup. (I don't have reverse) Instead of adding a gear and weight, the actual stroke of the engine is reversed and they run backwards!

I love snowmachining, but I'm not one of those nuts that jump off of 50+ cornisses and such, I just like to get where I need to go and have fun. I know some crazy riders though, but usually when I'm out with those guys I just help pick up the pieces and tow em out when they break stuff!

Sounds clever, tho vaguely related to the VW radiator cap of old

If I got a snow buggy at this late stage of my increasingly-creaky life, it would be cuz it was the easier way to get to town than the road and the truck!
