Default Building home in Missoula, Mt area by Spring!!

Hi everyone!! I will be coming back to Missoula Mt in the spring to look for a place to build a home, I lived in the Missoula area for 36 yrs and worked at a lumber mill in Bonner, Mt for all that time and unfortunately the mill finally shut down for good,

I then moved to Lakeland, Florida and have been here almost 3 yrs and now going to W. Virginia to be with the love of my life and her family and then going out to Montana to find some land and build a home.

Anyway wanted to say Hi and look forward to coming back for a visit and maybe staying here through out our retirement. Thanks for reading, Johnny

Hi,Johnny welcome home..

Prices have gone up, i would look further out for land to build on. Do you have any leads yet?
Traffic is crazy as usual, and if you have a scanner crime is up a bit, and crazy. But nothing like the rest of the world.

quite a climate change from florida. Although i'm not sure i could live there, to warm.
I would miss the snow and winter fun. Even though some days its a bit much. Would not trade the mountians for anything.
There was some cheap land twords drummond (east of missoula) last year, decent price.. not sure what size you are looking for. I'd love to buy some land out in the boonies and build, but with little man (almost 2 years old) it will be a while. For now we rent..
