Conrad got a few flakes during the parade for our towns centennial celebration today. Nothing stuck.

The clouds sure looked heavy all day but it is still in the high 30's.
The shop is all organized so the rigs can go in.
I am learning a little more each year.

My little map is all pink over Billings.
The prairie is still green up here, very unusual!

We got 2 feet just outside of Red Lodge. Lots of tree damage. The heavy wet snow that is still coming down are weighing down all the tree limbs. The back window of my neighbors subaru got taken out by a falling limb.

Impressive; here a mile south of Bozeman we got a foot. I drove up to Belgrade earlier today just a few miles up the road and they had nothing but rain... gotta love Montana's microclimates.

Hey NYMTman..........................

Do me a favor.....please let us know how low the temps get this coming FRiday and Saturday nights. I think in addition to the 12+ inches you just received, it would be nice to let all those potential trans-plants to MT know what can happen as early as 10/5/09.

And I'm with you re the Microclimates of central and S/W Montana.........they sure educate some of our "new to the LAST BEST PLACE" arrivals.

If they take it with a smile and don't complain...........great.....the welcome mat is out for them.
