West Glacier
My family is considering relocating to West Glacier, but have a high school age daughter. We've heard really negative things about Browning. Is it as bad as we've heard? Is it possible to live in West G and have the high schooler go to Whitefish?
Any other info or advice?

What do West Glacier and Browning have to do with each other? There close to a hundred miles apart. Are you of native descent? If so, you'll be fine in Browning. If not, just be careful, especially with a teenage daughter. LOTS of sexual crimes in Browning.

Do you even know your geography? If you're native - then Browning maybe your choice - not mine. It's 70 miles from one to the other and another 26 miles to Whitefish You need to do some more research. If you live in West Glacier your school is there. Live in Whitefish your school is there. This isn't Miami, where you can live in one suburb and go to school in another suburb.

A WEST Glacier High Schooler will probably ride the school bus to Columbia Falls High School. If you want her to go to Whitefish or Kalispell, you will have to take her there yourself.
Now, if you are moving to EAST Glacier, THEN she might go to Browning.
What do you plan on doing once you get there? while it is beautiful country, you can't eat scenery!

Apparently some Salish folks in the Bitterroot at one time considered this scenery to be edible !
