Default What Are Some Great Mountain Towns?

I am considering settling in Montana after a trip that takes me all over the western United States. I want to live in a community that is absolutely surrounded by mountains. I want mountains everywhere! Not off in the distance either, I want them surrounding the town, I want the town to be in the valley of the mountains. Do you understand? So my question is what are some towns that meet this criteria?
