Beautiful house. Trying to imagine it with 6 ft of snow.

I agree. In a forested area you need to keep brush and trees well away from the house. Enough distance so that a tree that's on fire cannot fall against the house. Makes for a more open yard, but less shade. But it can mean the difference of your house still standing after a forest fire.

Montana is famous for forest fires due to lightning strikes.

We got real-time pics of it from our realtor with the snow in the backyard. It wasn't 6 feet LOL. Looked the same as outside our window here.. about 6 inches.

The house is built into a hill so you can't see it all, and the back has no brush near it. I think the hubby that owned the home was not keeping up with the maintenance of the home, hence the brush not being removed among a few other things that we will have to do when we get there but no big deal.

Nice looking home Pashta. The snowfall this year has so far been well below normal.

Yep, same here. Been like that for the past few years actually, or maybe I'm just imagining it. I remember as a kid we'd have huge amounts of snow and I had to walk through it to school. Literally up to my waist in drifts, but then again I was a lot shorter LOL.
