JoeJoeMan -
I'm sorry, but I believe you're mistaken as I have not called anyone any name of any sort. For what it's worth (which I'm sure is very little to you and I completely understand that), some of the positions which my husband is considering have had no (zero, nada, zilch) applicants once they have learned of the demands of the job. It's a job which, while it pays well, demands 24/7 on-call hours and ultimate responsibility for millions of dollars of equipment as well as ultimate responsibility for coherence with HIPPA and JCAHO, both of which are nightmarish degrees of detail orientation. For most people, the cons of the position are simply not worth the salary. Hospitals lose their accreditation over this job being done poorly. And while you may not think a degree (not a college degree) of expertise is required on a job if an "outsider" must fill it, the hospital communities throughout the USA do seem to find this a need. BTW my husband is Native American and as such has likely been "entitled" to be on this piece of land longer than a lot of people on it currently. Last edited by tigergal; 07-03-2007 at 06:34 PM. Come on out to Grangeville, ID. We are 3 hours over the pass from Missoula. It is a very pleasant area with some growth potential, but not alot because there really isn't enough commerce for growth. It's mainly ranching around here. We have wilderness area as our back yard with so much to do for recreation. We even stop for you when you are crossing the street. We are very friendly around here also.

Subdivisions are put down a lot. This I don't understand. It is better to cut up hundreds of acres into 5 or 10 acre lots than to concentrate then on 40 acres? This doesn't seem better to me. Also people complain about housing becoming too expensive, how many people can afford these 5+ acre mini ranches? Help me under stand how this is better than subdivisions?

Also what is so bad about "big Box stores"? Is it that they give you too many selections? Don't create more jobs? What is it?

I must say "amen" to idaclaire's remark. She said it so eloquintly. I am trying to make up my mind if I want to sell my "heaven on earth" to move to outside of Helena so I can be a lil closer to see my grandchildren. As I age my daughter cannot leave Helena and yet would love to have me closer to her and the family. Hum. Very errogant people over the hill from me.
