If you're heading up to Glacier, the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center in Great Falls is a very nice stop as well as some hiking trails.

no ive never been to kentucky or rockefeller forest..but i have seen the biggest seqoias i sequoia national park in calif.

Here's a coast redwood in the pic below, that's 3 feet wider at chest height than General Sherman. About 500 feet from the one shown, is the largest coast redwood, which is still slightly wider diameter at DBH / chest high, than the General, although Sherman has more wood volume. Only 7 Giant Sequoia trees are the largest in the world, and then next is the largest coast redwood which is bigger than all other Giant Sequoias. There's huge trees both in the Sierras and up near the north coast.

Its interesting to visit online image hosting sites and see trees of both species in photos that people post. A wide variety of trees and seasons.
