I'm going down to Hamilton this week and was hoping someone could recommend some good restaurants. Thanks in advance.

I wish I could remember the name, but on the South side of Main Street is a good place to eat with the word "Grill" in its name. We had a great burger there on a Sunday but they have other fare as well. Well attended.

The Signal Bar use to have the best hamburgers in town. I think it's called the Signal Grill now and hamburgers are not so great. BUT last summer I was in Hamilton and had absolutely the BEST hamburger ever and a restaurant in the 200 block of north 2nd. East side if the street. But don't remember the name. When I lived there is was Emil Lechambs (sp) blacksmith shop. Been a while.

From a Businessman in Hamilton "The name of the restaurant you are referring to is "Nap's". I think that's where we were. Best burgers in western Montana." Look at http://www.napsgrill.com/

We've been to the coffee cup cafe a couple of times now. Once for breakfast and supper. It's pretty good food, but when it's busy it's slow service.

I like the Coffee Cup too. Especially for breakfast. Seems to be the "go to" place for the locals.

susansolin are you related to any of the Olin's that have lived in Hamilton? Gail, Lowell

Went to the Coffee Cup and tried to go to the Signal Grill but got to town too late but will go next time. Thanks again everyone for the recommendations.

Not related to any Olin's in Hamilton, just the Solin's in Wisconsin It will be fun to meet some Olin's though.

We are set to move to Hamilton in May!

Visiting Hamilton and tried the Signal Grill on West Main St. Everything we got was delicious! I had the Mahi Mahi with very good homemade sweet potato fries. The group I was with got the buffalo burger and the fish and chips which were also very good. Nice portions. Very friendly. Make a lot of there own stuff such as salad dressings and fries. I would definitely go back.
