I am moving to Billings next spring. Have been doing research online re: real estate & noticed a range of prices on similar homes depnding on the area in town. Are there districts that may not be wise for a single female to live by herself - where the crime might be a little higher? What areas would be less expensive but a good choice for a single person? Thank you!

I grew up there and still have family there. The South side, and east side of downtown would be areas I'd avoid. The Heights and west end are ok, as is the middle part of town. good luck.

I lived in Billings for 25 years and loved it - Billings rocks! The south side is probably the worst part of town , but I still never had problems there. You will love Billings.
