Hi Y'all,
My wife, 3 year old son and I are looking to move from WA to Montana after returning from a short visit to Kalispell area (March)...Beautiful! We couldn't afford to go to Helena but we hear it's pretty there too but maybe has too many Granolas...I eat them for breakfast when I'm late for work. Pardon me as I'm getting off track here.
I'm a Builder and she's gonna be a Teacher...maybe. Anyway, we're just checking in with you Locals about which spot might be more suitable for us. Obviously we need to go to Helena and check it out but just thought I'd put it out there.
My wife's passion is HORSES... NOT SHOPPING THANK GOD!...She's Great.
I build and remodel houses 24/7's except a few weeks in the fall when I tend to take sick suddenly at times and need to walk it off with my Winny in my hands... seems to remedy every time...funny that...sorry as I'm wandering again.
And our Son is #1 priority...Good Boy...Great Mom... and we got Blessed.
Anyway, just thought I'd check with Ya'll in regards to this matter...This is wierd...
So, ahem, in conclusion, I guess I just would appreciate any info. thoughts, opinions, etc...

Thanks...Sincerely

tilversip,
I have found that Montana is not for everyone. Not saying it is not for you though. My family has moved there and loves it and would never leave the Kalispell area. Others come, love it for a while and then get tired of the long winters and then leave. When it comes to family, horses and good solid neighbors, Kalispell is right on! Unfortunately as far as finding work though, I think it may be a little difficult right now. But maybe if we just keep holding on to that "hope" in Obama, things may turn around soon. Sorry, I am the one getting off track now.
Anyway, I understand your passion to move to such a beautiful place. It is very admirable that you know the blessings in your life and have your priorities in order. You difinitely don't want to rush into moving your family without thoroughly checking everything out. I would suggest spending more time there before making any decision. Just remember that if God guides, God provides.
