Does anyone know the best way to sell this thing without using E bay? I seriously just don't trust buyers on that site. Its virtually brand new, just sits here like a statue. Any input would be helpful. I live in ct and wish I really had enough time to scout the good sites but most are far from where I'm currently living. Plus the fact i hate going it alone no fun.

Mike

Try Craigslist, I've never had a problem on that one, won't use ebay again...

Hey there folks...

About 15 years ago, I did a lot of prospectin with my father, and his youngest brother. They are in Georgetown CA, which is a huge part of the minin history of CA. We used to use metal detectors, pans, sluice boxes, and a 4" dredge. I live in Clinton MT, and would like to get back into the hobby. I have a friend who has a small dredge, and a metal detector that he has offered for my use. I have yet to go out, but only because I don't know the rules/ laws of MT. I plan to buy a new pan, and then hit the BLM and NFS offices to get the rundown on what I can/ can't do on what piece of land.

I'm also lookin for someone near the Missoula - Drummond areas who is lookin to go out and see what we can find. I have some areas that I would love to hit, as they just look good, but I think I'll wait to hear from the BLM and NFS offices.

Turn on a metal detector and I start break dancing. Not a pretty sight.
