Question Churches in Helena

Hi all. I've been searching for churches around Helena, but the listings online aren't helpful for much more than an address. Would someone be willing to tell me which churches are the most involved/respected in the community? Which ones have larger congregations? Other special info that might be important? Thanks for responses!

(Looking primarily for info on Protestant)

Thank you for the website. Does this church have one of the larger congregations in town?

Would this church be known to have one of the better youth programs (7-12)? Other churches with good youth programs?

Default Neighborhood

Take a look at Neighborhood Assembly of God. Good youth program with full time youth pastor.

Servo,

You're not really going to know what church is right for you until you actually go to them to see if they're the right "fit" for you, your family and your beliefs. A website will be helpful for some basic info, but you really have to attend a service, meet the people and find out how that church interprets the Bible to know if it's the right church for you.

I attend one of the larger Protestant churches in town, which is St. Paul's Methodist. We're located in the heart of Helena and we welcome everyone! We have two Sunday services and a variety of educational and social activities throughout the week. St. Paul's is one of the oldest congregations in Helena and is directly across from the Catholic cathedral. St. Paul's is a supporter of many community organizations and has a special relationship with Intermountain Children's Home. We have a choir that will make you get goosebumps, which always adds a lot of joy and excitement to the services. Check it out at www.stpaulshelena.org. The church also has a backdrop of Mount Helena, so you can be inspired by nature as you listen to the awesome practical, scripture-based sermons. We are a very positive church with a long history in the community.

I have also attended St. John's Lutheran on a few occasions and know several people that go there. It's also located in the central part of Helena. I enjoyed it.

I know quite a few people who attended the Four Square church in East Helena, but it's a bit too evangelical for me personally. However, some folks just love it.
