Cemetery Information in Flathead County (Helena, Kalispell: live, station, rated)

This query might require an oldtimer. I am looking for Stillwater Cemetery in Flathead County. As there are so many ancestors buried in the Kalispell vicinity,I expect that area. The time frame would be in the early 1920's. We have been to Conrad Memorial and Glacier Memorial,but no luck on finding Helena Hansen Smith/Schmidt,or Jens(john) C.(Christoffer)Smith/Schmidt. Maybe Stillwater was incorporated into another? Thank You. kayakladyblue

Chances are good that you may have to make your query directly to the Stillwater Ranger Station Historic District / U.S. 93, at Olney, Montana, via the, USDA - Flathead National Forest 1935 3rd Ave East Kalispell, MT 59901 (406) 758-5204,
or the Kootenai National Forest via the, USDA - 1101 Hwy. 2 West Libby, MT 59923 (406) 293-6211

The area in question contains roughly 65 acres, and 6 or 7 buildings, and quite possibly a cemetary. c. 1900-1925

I think this will get you pretty close to what it is you want to know.

Hi, did you have any luck finding a cemetary? Better yet, did you find anyplace to get a list of the people buried there? I have a friend looking for information about her father Jack Henry Ross. He lived somewhere in that area.
