Dear friends,

I am going to work in King City California and I am from Peru which is placed in South America and when I try to find an airplane ticket from Peru to King City Ca it says that there is no Air Plane Company that arrives to King City so please would you be so kind to tell me to where should I buy my plane ticket ?
From Peru I can use American Airlines, Taca, Continental Airlines, Lan, but anyone arrive to King City.
Thank you so much in advance. God bless you.

Kind regards,

Joaquina

Fly to San Francisco or Oakland. Take the Train to King City. But, why on God's green earth would you take a job in King City sight unseen?

This is the correct information. Depending on your ground transportation, you probably should focus on Monterrey.

True, Monterey works, but the cost to fly from SF or Oakland or LA, to Monterey, is high, $440 from SFO. Then transport from Monterey to King City.

Whereas the train from SF to King City is $34.00

I'd take the train.

A flight from Peru to Monterey would surprise me.

There might also be a Greyhound bus that goes to King City from the airport area. Or a shuttle from airport to bus station.

Best of Luck to you, Joaquina...

Lustrums ago i did a lot of fishin' on Hunter Liggett ponds, Lake San Antonio & Naciemiento.

There is no greyhound service in Monterey, once you get off the plane it is taxi time to Salinas to one of the scariest bus stations in America.

Best, fly to SFO, take the train to King City.

I left Monterey back in 1987. Back then the Greyhound bus station was a few blocks from Monterey wharf, on Del Monte. I guess urban renewal took it out Bro......Just like they took out Louie's PoolHall & the Owl Club on Alvarado St.

For some years we lived on River Road outside Salinas. I went to the Greyhound in town several times. Great chicken enchilada suisas across the street...

I have been to the Salinas bus stop.. It like Salinas, is a bit rough. Monterey may have gotten a bit too posh for greyhound, it is a dog of a way to get around.
