Now; if generosity is the haulmark of a caring society; how's Quebec measuring up for ya?

And of course all that hatred for the Englais spewing out of Quebec has a basis founded in the loftiest of principles, riiiiiight?

With all of the "official" diatribes towards the ROC emanating out of elected nutbars in Quebec have you yet to hear of any "official" anti-Quebec sentiments issuing from the mouths of other provincial leaders. Are any of them advocating cutting you off at your knees, screaming for a review of Quebec's status within Canada, a re-visiting of the official languages act? NO you say; strange, don't you think?

Quebec specialists! Haar that's a good one. Quebec declares their feelings, their intent and indeed even their hatred for us and wears them on her sleeve like badges of honour, constantly reminding those of us who have endured but tolerated the stupidity for decades. How can we not remain current in Quebec's affairs. They're like a spoiled child always clamoring for attention.

Ignoring them is impossible; they wont go away.

How many of you can read french ? How many read french newspapers regularly? Don't you think it is important, if you want to have a balanced opinion?

I'm not sure but I'll dig up my great, great, great, grandfather and ask him if you like. Now about hating the English, should we just ask Marois?

New Orleans where their culture has thrived without anti-English legislation, by the by. Many of them attempting to return to Quebec with all it's nonsense? ~ Didn't think so.

Nope!

If I believed for one second learning French would make you receptive to my offering a balanced opinion about people advocating the mistreatment of the Englais or break-up of Canada over todays conditions not being to their liking within Quebec, well.....?

The idea is preposterous in the extreme as even Trudeau thought separatistes were all nutbars without a functioning braincell among them and he was arguably better educated and versed in Francais than they or anyone posting on here. Still, their ignoring him knew no boundaries right up until he put a soldier on every doorstep. THEN, and only then, did they wake up to the realities of a failed premise.

Aaah I've been waiting for that victimology to rear it's head.

Firstly; Quebecois are not ALL represented by you folks advocating for or defending the likes of Marois and her tribe. Quebecois to a large degree just want to put bread on the table and continue their prosperity within Quebec. NO they are definitely not the worst people on the planet.

Anglo Canadians a**holes we have in great abundance. Stands to reason doesn't it? There's sure a whole boatload more of us.

NO ONE is perfect! No race, no colour, no linguistic denominator. We all have flaws.

The difference is; the ROC for the most part, want all the same things the Separatistes do without focusing on purely a linguistic difference to vilify our neighbours.

I would put forth a balanced opinion to you. Were the rest of Canada to magically become fluent in French overnight it wouldn't change a thing! Sovereignists would simply move on to another set of requirements unfulfilled to moan about.

It's got nothing to do with the perceived mistreatment of the French over 200 hundred years ago and everything to do with perception and power. The most prurient motives that have driven dictators throughout the ages are driving the leaders of this movement today. You're all just foot soldiers in the oldest game in history.

How condescending ! The dictator warning... ah ah ah ! We, québécois are so naive, we don't see the nazis coming....So, you know our souls better than a majority of us BECAUSE you're an anglo and you DON'T speak french. You should check the intense sessions of quebec bashing in the ROC, and see which side has lost his mind. Have a good day!
