I'm wondering what Parc Mont Royal is like during the summer. Specifically during the evening, are there any concerts or festivals that go on? I was wondering if any annual events take place by the Lac Au Castor, the big overlook area, or the area by the Cartier Monument.

Also are there any particular safety hazards at night that are unique to Parc Mont Royal?

Thanks a lot, Tom

The park in the summer is the best. In the summer there is always drumming circles "tam tams" by the cartier monument every sunday. No real safety hazards there except second hand marijuana smoke.
