I am planning a short honeymoon in Montreal from June 30 - July 3. We will be driving from near Albany, NY and have a room booked very near to the Radisson Metro station. I see that the Jazz Festival will be going on and that it's a huge event. How might it affect our trip?

If you have your room booked that's half the battle. Parking and traffic might be worse than usual.

It will make it far more enjoyable.
Leave the car at the hotel and take the Metro to the Quartier des Spectacles. Get off at the St Laurent or Place des Arts Metro station, and enjoy!
You'll have a blast.

The Radisson metro station is rather to far east to be much affected by the Jazzfest which would be happening around the Place des Arts metro station, resist the urge to drive your car in the city and instead take public transit (metro or bus)
