We will have several weeks before the real season starts with Maryland to iron out any kinks, but with the offense we have in place, I think a 7 win prediction is way low. It would be tough for any team to run the table in that league, but I think 9 wins is doable. The first 2 are basically gimmes and will serve as warmups.

Even the big 12 bloggers are saying the big 12 will come down to wvu, okla and kstate. Id say 10-11 wins

Interest in season tickets is already at an all time high. Morgantown area hotels are reportedly expecting to be sold out in a matter of days with major interest coming from Big 12 schools alumni associations wanting to rent blocks of rooms for weekends. I'd think all 5,000 rooms in a 30 mile radius of Morgantown will sell out more quickly than usual.

Blackwater and Canaan Valley SPs ought to get on the ball and set up some 3-5 day "Get Away to the Mountains" packages, with lodging, transportation to/from Morgantown, etc.

Ever since McCoy and Shipley left, theyve been sub par at best, and they even have McCoy and Shipleys brothers. Their problem is at qb, theres no constant when you rotate 3 qbs in a game, every game of the year. I believe they keep getting the #1 recruiting class year after year.

WVU will lose to both Oklahoma and Oklahoma State with Texas being a toss up. Even with two losses, WVU won't make it to a BCS bowl game, for the 2012 season or for some time to come. I still don't understand the move to the Big 12 conference. It seems that Luck paid $20 million to get beat every year in the Big 12 or to never go to a major bowl game again. WVU will probably be in the Holiday or Insight Bowl this upcoming season.
