Murder In Morgantown Walmart Parking Lot (Man, Bruceton Mills: garden, county, interstate)

Morgantown Police have identified the woman who was shot and killed in the parking lot in the Walmart in Morgantown Saturday as Shannon Lynn Stafford, 29, of Bruceton Mills in Preston County.

Very sad indeed. These domestic situations are unpredictable because there are sometimes such strong emotions involved.

A friend of mine was the guy who held him down for the police. He said that it was something he doubts he is going to be able to forget.

I guess he didn't see the shooting but he ran out of the garden dept when someone ran in and said that someone had been shot in the parking lot.

Him and two other guys got him out of his truck and held him down until the police arrived. The young lady was lying in the parking lot though which did seem to be pretty traumatic.

It happened at the one off Interstate 68, Hornbeck Rd.

Very said indeed. It seems like there are domestic situations resulting in death on the news all across the country lately, especially involving men killing their wives/girlfriends/ex-girlfriends/family members.

I dont think it is worse now.

Terrible things like this always happen. In this case it hit closer to home.

You'd be surprised how many times it is wives or ex girlfriends killing the guys. Domestic violence is just as previlent among women, it just gets less publicity.
