Morgantown's economic future looks bright (Charleston, Huntington: unemployment, university, moving)

According to new data from the Bureau of Business and Economics Research at West Virginia University, the Morgantown area is still moving strong economically. The findings were released at the Economic Outlook Conference Tuesday.

The Morgantown Metropolitan Statistical Area is a place where the economy has been stable, and unemployment relatively low, throughout the nation’s economic recession.

Even more good news for Morgantown.

At this point I am used to so much good news none of makes me too excited anymore.

I thought the Metroplotian Statistical Area/US Census criteria and data was called unreliable by you and some other posters, either from Morgantown or with Morgantown ties. How is it okay in this instance?

You ran in when you saw the word bureau, not realizing the census bureau is not the only bureau, and now realized your mistake.

No, it's the third biggest. In fact, probably only Charleston/Huntington qualifies as a mudhole, NCWV is more like a puddle.
