The WVU Hospitals has bought the Prete Building on University Ave. for use as office space for a price of $25 million.

I remember BioLife Plasma bein housed there until a few years back. I think there was a bank operation there too.

From a business perspective that's really good to see. WVU Healthcare is growing leaps and bounds.

The University owned that for the past few years and had the transportation department and campus police offices there. Transportation moved to Mountaineer Station and the police to the building behind Fieldcrest a couple of years ago. WVUH would be the next logical tenant.

That entire business section of University from the corner of Patteson to just past Black Bear is ugly, particularly on left side coming up from Patteson. Would love to see it get a "remodel"
