I agree. I think Church's chicken tastes bland. I like KFC, Popeyes, Bush's, Bill Miller, Lucy's, all better than Church's. Haven't been there in years and it's the closest chicken place to my house. I pass it by to get to any other chicken place.

That Munchie's location is jinxed. Everything in there fails so id avoid it all costs. Parking and traffic is a poor situation for that location and it had to rely upon foot traffic. Did the Pizza Hut by Kroger in Sabraton close?

When did the Suncrest (you do mean Patterson Dr right?) location of Beanery get sold to Apple Annies? Frankly im shocked as that location always seemed to do great business. The location up near Ramada is also known to have businesses falter there whether by poor promotion or some other reason.

Lucy's and Bill Miller's are in Austin, Texas. Bill Miller is more famous for bbq but they do serve up some pretty good fried chicken, big pieces, too.

I thought I was in the Austin forum when I made that post. I didn't realize it was the West Virginia forum until just a few minutes ago. Sorry.

Agree about the Pizza Hut location. Back in ancient times that Pizza Hut had a seafood buffet on Fridays for some reason and it was really pretty good (and cheap.) I'd love to see a small local place go in there.

Not sure about the Westover location--restaurants don't seem to thrive in Westover. I wish someone could come up with something to revive that area.

BTW--what's happening with the BBQ place at the intersection in Sabraton? It seems to have stalled.
I drove by the BBQ place in Sabraton today and there was a sign up saying they are now open even though they don't have any other signage as far as I could see and the place looks pretty much the same as it has looked for months. Sorry I have forgotten the name of the place. Has anybody been in there yet?

Default It was in the old Mall...

and was absolutely fantastic back when I ate meat. I can't speak to how they are going to do now. IMO, best BBQ in Morgantown (better than Atomic and all the also-rans).

Woodburn Shanks. Very good BBQ. Too bad they moved out of the old Mall however it's a good area for the lunch crowd at Sabraton especially with Popeye's soon to be there.

Maybe you can move back to Texas and save us the constant condescension?
