Any news on empty anchor spots at the Morgantown Mall? With 3 of the 4 anchors closed and Garfields closed, plus a lot of lower end stores appearing in the mall, is this place doomed?
Selfishly I hope not, since we use that movie theater because of the amc a list pass we have.
I haven't heard a peep but they really need to just bulldoze it and then build one of those nice downtown style shopping centers with a new AMC theater. Apparently some of the recently renovated stores are having issues of the roof leaking and Washington Prime Group either doesn't care to fix it or can't figure out what the problem is.
With the holidays now coming up I highly doubt we will hear a peep before next year now. Something needs to be done ASAP before the mall completely spirals down, at some point there will be a point of no return.

Yep. Address the issue now or everyone will move to UTC/West Ridge or the Fort Pierpont area.
The white and blue dumpy building at the corner of High Street and Kirk Street is going to be receiving a major renovation and the building will look much more modern once it is done.

That's the office supply company building. I always wondered when somebody would do something with that. I'm guessing that the office supply company is now out of business?
It is the Mills Group. The info is in the BZA link.
