That it was, I’d say best since the Orange Bowl, or at least the most exciting since then. That touchdown and then two point conversion at the end of the game had everyone in Mountain Momas (where I was watching it at) on the edges of our seats and the place erupted when we got the TD and the subsequent 2 point conversions. Just an awesome win!
The 40 yard touchdown pass with 16 seconds left was an absolute work of art. Running into the end zone with one second remaining for the 2 point conversion to seal the victory … priceless.
The clock does not run after a touchdown. There were 16 seconds remaining when WV kicked off to Texas. The kickoff, I believe took very little time but they ate a lot of clock trying to find a receiver and then WV almost intercepted it, leaving one second on the clock. I expected a hail Mary but they instead opted for the old lateral, lateral, lateral but they flubbed that one big time on about the second lateral.
Greatest finish since the Louisville multiple overtimes game many years ago.
On a disappointing note, the men's basketball team appears to be terrible despite the preseason hype. This does not look like a Huggins team. It goes to show just how valuable Javon Carter and Dax Miles were to this team. The physicality of a Bob Huggins team is not there and the team lacks a true leader. I think people expected Sags and Bolden to be the leaders but they haven't really showed that yet. Especially Bolden.
The women’s soccer team has won another Big 12 tournament title.
Soccer is cruel sport sometime. The ladies lost last night in a shootout after being tied. It is like having five players shoot foul shots to determine the game. Great season, ladies!

Could be a long season.
Having seen the first three games plus the exhibition game in person, I respectfully disagree that they are terrible.
I do agree a true leader has not stepped up consistently. Beetle and Sags have both been injured and have not practiced as much as is needed. I give Beetle a lot of credit for the way he plays. He had 3-5 stitches put in during the first half of the Buffalo game and came back and played hard until he had severe cramps and was unable to finish the game.
We just need to give this team time to find themselves. JC and Dax are gone and the young guys haven't learned the "system" quite yet.
Most disturbing is the turnovers. I really think we sometimes wear ourselves out on the defensive end and lose a little of the offensive end because of it.
I will support them as they develop their own identity.
