We put one kid through the WVU College of Engineering and Computer Science...he has done well.
All of these disciplines pay very well and are needed for/in the future....and the work in Biometrics, Civil and Mining fields are right here locally.
If you've got the time and the stamina for a twin Theisis, I would consider a double dose...get it done in one time frame and endure the punishment once.
PhD if you think you will teach...but it's handy as a VP or Pres. credential for a corporation...
my Dau-in-Law has an American MBA and the company asked her to get the PhD for a VP job in Jacksonville in two years...and she can smoke those classes too...
She won't make 7 million like H. Breash...but she will do it honestly and 1 million isn't small hay for a lady with a degree or two anywhere...
good luck.

You're a computer engineer, and you don't know how to access Google or use proper grammar?

Nahhh. If he were Oriental he'd be going to Cal Tech or MIT.
