Are they from WV? I think that no one would be more qualified in this position than a life long resident of the state.

It's an art museum. Qualifications have nothing to do with
the state of origin.

WVU has a very large collection of valuable are that
it has accumulated over the years from estates of
wealthy donors and the like. Some of it originated
in West Virginia, and some did not. The museum
will also host traveling art exhibits. It is supposed
to be a first class facility.

I still believe that things that represent WV should be represented by people from WV. Its jus the way I feel.

While I certainly admire your loyalty to the State and its
people, I'm sure you're glad it isn't like that in North Carolina.
The University hires the most qualified people for the job.
As long as they're American citizens, that's the way it should
be.
