I have foreclosed on my mobile home and will have a deficinecy balance when they are done auctioning off my house. Can they come after me for the deficiency balance? I know in NC they can't garnish my wages but I think that if they get a judgment from another state they can honor that judgment in NC, is that true? What percent could they garnish?

They would have to have the judgment domesticated in NC, at which point they would have to abide by NC rules, meaning you are safe from garnishment.

I don't know of any possible way they have around that, but it wouldn't hurt to ask a lawyer to be certain.
