Can I be pre-approved for a mortgage by more than one lender? What's the protocol? What if the real estate agent is related to the lender that first pre-qualified you?

I was qualified. I just don't like some of the numbers I'm seeing.

You can pre qualify with as many as you would like. Once the contract is accepted, you'll need to pick one.
