Ok, so I use Identity Guard .com to watch my credit and all the inquiries on my credit.
I was about 100 percent sure I was buying a house until something changed. Regardless, I went to BoA to get financing for it. Well of course they ran my credit but it came across like this for the inquiry.
Company:
BANK OF AMERICA

Company Bureau ID:
Address:
801 N 11TH ST
SAINT LOUIS, MO 63101-1015

Industry:
All banks-non-specific
Telephone:
BYM-AIL-ONLY

Type:
INSTI
--------------------------------
The Type is what confuses me. I thought when a Mortgage company checks your credit it comes across as a mortgage company so when a bunch do it in a weeks time it doesn't ding your fico. So what is a INSTI?
Do I need to fight this so it doesn't hurt my FICO?
