Does a bank renew Negative equity mortgage? Can it be transferred to another bank or to any mortgage brokers? Where is a good place to find more info on this topic other than a bank? If anyone has any experience in the field, please let me know.
Thanks!

What do you mean renew? A loan can move to a different servicer, yes, regardless of whether the borrower is in a position of negative equity.

Smile Harp 2

Is your mortgage owned by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac? Was it originated prior to May 31, 2009?

You may eligible for a lower interest rate through HARP 2.

What state are you in?

If you are in California, I have several brokers that I can refer you to that are great!
