Hi, we are buying a condo with the VA Loan and are scheduled to be closed on 11/25. Everything is all set with the lender side. However, we have not heard anything from VA. Our loan officer does not seem to be worried. We tried to call VA but it went nowhere. We were just told paperwork was with the attorney. Should we be worried? Is it typical they wait until the last couple of days?
thanks.

VA has nothing to do with it. It might be that you are using a broker who is waiting on the lender's final approval.

What are you "waiting on" from VA?

The VA does not contact the Veteran borrower with any sort of approval message about a mortgage loan. Your lender will be underwriting the loan to VA standards. As the borrower, you're only going to be dealing with your lender. Good luck
