Yes, it sounds like you are winding down to the very end. The statement is a hold harmless (for the bank). I would say it's going to be soon.

Question: I received a message on Monday afternoon that I would get a response within 24 business hours. So, with that being said I'm assuming that closing Friday is highly unlikely, right? I mean 24 business hours is like saying 3 business days. This really sucks because I am really hoping to close this Friday. What a process this has been. Anyhow, I guess I can hope for a miracle. Technically speaking I would need to get a clear to close by today or early Wednesday to be able to close Friday, right? If anyone can shed some light here I'll appreciate it. I can't deny that although I feel pretty confident that I will get approved there is still that little part of me that says what if you get denied....this is torture!

I've never heard anyone say "24 business hours". When they say 24 hours they mean by tomorrow COB. If it's 24 business hours they usually say 3 business days. Weird. I think you might here back today.

Exactly my point! I found 24 'business hours' to be a little strange. Hopefully, you are right and it was a typo or something. It would be awesome to hear back today or even early tomorrow morning (granted it's good news, of course).

Wow...still waiting. This is just ridiculous if you ask me. It won't surprise me if and when I hear back it's to ask for some other document. Unbelievable!

What a damn circus! So, my file goes back to UW on Monday and we are to give 24 hrs for a response and last I heard was that UW was reviewing yesterday and today is almost over and still nothing. Nothing but lies if you ask me. I wish they would just be damn honest and not play with people's expectations.

I was told today that it will be out of UW tomorrow. So, what's your story? What's holding your file up? I hope you can close soon. Keep your head up.

I wish....still waiting. Supposedly, we are waiting for an approval from a secondary department...whatever that means. I'm trying not to stress at this point and looking at it with a positive attitude. It could be worse. At least it has not been denied and it seems like they want to approve it. As soon as something happens I will post.
