Hello,

I've provided last pay stub, 2 years w2 and 2 years tax returns along with bank statements showing my employer is depositing the money. I need this loan approved asap, I'm not sure if VOE is needed with all that other documentation. I didn't sign a voe waiver or anything. My employer drags their feet with stuff like this.

VOE is pretty much always needed. You need to be proactive and make it happen. Your employer will mostly likely need to fill out a form with details about how long you've been there, when your next raise is, any bonuses you receive, etc. It has to be done so if you know it's going to be a problem you need to get on their case.

Not only is a VOE needed, a preclose verification the day before or the day of closing is commonplace.
