Do what you can, go sunbathe by the motel pool when you get the time, and let these people who are supposed to help you do their job seal the deal.

Good luck!
Just moved to a motel with a pool and that's just what I did. Upon return to the room the attorney called us to his office and we signed the papers. The delay has cost us but I doubt we'll recoup. We get the keys tomorrow.

Got the keys! We got the whole $8K credit minus about $10. Much better but we also spent extra on the hotels, etc. I'm totally okay with that. Tomorrow we start occupying the home and the pets will stop walking around with dazed looks on their faces.

Hunterseat- didn't you say in another forum that you moved to Clinton, CT ? There is no county government in CT, except for judicial matters. The paperwork for your home will be recorded in the local town hall.

Anything going on with your septic system, etc. that needs permits, inspections will be through the local town hall.
