Hey all,
So long story short, I'm gonna buy a house with downpayment assistance with the AHA. I meet the salary qualifications with them because I make less than the $55K qualification, and because I'm a teacher, I'm supposed to get $25K from them...... but..... I keep hearing that I may not get the full amount based on their criteria... I'm not married, don't have kids, have some student loan debt and a car loan, etc.

Has anyone gotten Down Payment assitance with AHA? What was your experience like? Did you get the full amount? I feel like I'm dealing with the Wizard of Oz right now and would like some clarity on what all I could get and what to expect. Thanks!!!
