Hello everyone, I am purchasing a home in the Tampa area, and I am looking for recommendations for mortgage loan officers. I searched the forums but I didn't find much or the recommendations were outdated. Thank you for the help!

Ah, you missed me by about 18 years! I was selling Repossessed Mobile Homes to people who had previously had their Mobile Home repossessed. Good times!

Nothing like choking back Formaldehyde fumes in a single-wide in 118 degrees. You start with the single-wide, then show a used one, then walk them into the 56D6 with the Open Kitchen and Mud Room. Backsplash, taped and textured, it was glorious!

Anyway, the prevalent posters on this site who are in the business tend to be national lenders.

Do yourself a favor and don't do any online applications like Lending Tree. Trust your gut.

I would suggest posing the question on the Tampa forum, requesting local lenders.

Default Florida Loan

Great advise, you go to those site and they sell the name to 20 people and your called all day for weeks. I am a broker and work with a good mortgage person in CA they are on their game, I could ask if they have a license in FL. It is good to use realtor referrals as they have relationships and know who the good lenders are. They want the deal to close, so we usually have a few names and numbers of the lenders that have impressed in the past.
