I'm in the market for a house, and am already pre-approved by Chase and other big banks. I want to check out some alternatives such as Quicken. The Quicken rep set up a Rocket Mortgage account for me, on which I'm supposed to upload certain docs. Apparently I can log in to my bank account directly via the Rocket App and they can verify my funds directly this way. Although this sounds neat, I'm nervous about giving out log in information to my bank account over an app. This sounds like a great way to steal critical personal information and money. Anyone used them recently? What are your thoughts?
