Has anyone had any experiences (positive or negative) with American Federal Mortgage Corp (New Jersey lender)?

No direct experience but acquaintances had been promised interest rates so far below market that they were suspicious. This could have been just the specific loan officer.

I just locked in with them. My attorney personally uses them for all of her real estate purchases so if she trusts them then so do I. She's no dumby.

They offered me same rate as Wells Fargo. I eventually went with Trident Mortgage which offered me better rate(0.125 basis points difference).

But I heard good things about american federal mortgage. My cousin has a mortgage with them.
