Default Changing lender on an FHA

I just had it with my mortage broker. Since he originated the loan, can I request all the info from the underwriter company and look for another lender. In doing so, do I have to wait another month to get results.?

No...the wholesale lender will only speak to the broker.

You need to remember that the wholesale company can take 2-3weeks to underwrite 1 loan. You would also need to change the case# which may take weeks if you dont have a cooperative broker. The case # is ordered once you have a house picked out....
If you dont then you can switch when you like, but the you will have to start fresh with someone else.
