Not sure how new this is but city-data is now offering a Mortgage Calculator tool. (just saw it above a post when I was reading-- see ^)

It actually is pretty decent, and I imagine once they work on the UI it'll be extremely popular.

That one is insane. It says I can afford twice my current house payment and we struggle getting enough into savings now. I wouldn't rely on this. I think it was written by some bank trying to sell mortgages.

Default Mortgage calculator

This one is useful when trying to compare your current mortgage vs. a refi. It was designed to see how much sooner you'd pay off your mortgage by pinching pennies but it's added benefit is comparing different loans.
