But that seems a little excessibe to say there was some "mitigating reason" why they should be given access to people homes and financial futures.
One story you will love: Morethan 40% of mortgage brokers in Indiana no longer have a license to do business in the state. The Indiana Secretary of State recently revoked licenses for 393 of the state's 950 mortgage brokerages for failure to comply with a new state law. The law was that all branch managers had to have 3 years experience and pass a test and background check.
~10% of the 950 had the mail "returned to sender", so they were likely closed for business. That still means ~30% of the states brokers either were unable or unwilling to comply with the new law.

Wow, very interesting. I also believe that the governement should stay out of business as much as possible. I have experience in Europe and the government is so much socialized and has too many laws for businesses....
On the other hand if the employees and their supervisor/owners or what ever you will call them, can't have the responsibility and only try to prey on the weak...than it is my believe the government has to be much stricter.
I also agree with you that a teenager or young adult makes a mistake that isn't too big, they should have a chance to change their life....which this almost 50 year old has proven not to do....her own story to one of my friends after she knew the neighbors knew about it and she still believed one person didn't know (who she already had tried to scam, but this person wasn't so naive as she thought) , she told her side of the story and it was as if she was the victim and she confessed of stealing more small items (I guess the bigger items were at her convenience left out

,

)
The documentary about home inspectors (Dateline investigate) who were sex offenders or had other criminal backgrounds and they showed that even in the new construction the inspections were less than 30 sec....walk in, walk out and sign off in the permit box....

, it was a real eye opener to me and I'm glad that they showed this so we know we have to be careful and watch our own properties even more. On the other side...there are IMO more good people in this world than bad, but if you meet the bad people...that can affect you so much.
Yesterday I watched a little bit of the interview with the room mate of the boyfriend of the mom who's daughter is missing in Orlando which is big National news.....this man was explaining how they believed all this mom has said and never doubt anything and she showed to be a good mother, but now all the lies come out and he and others had a toff time finding out this person was not who she believed she was....that is exactly the same feeling I had after doing business and being friends with a realtor who lied about her background, and more things in her life while befriending us to look better towards her probation officer who knew everything about our lifes (kids, animals, etc.) and not only my family, and had keys to a couple of homes in our neighborhood (who wouldn't trust a realtor, who has access to lockboxes, etc.) ......in our opinion the license proved that she was to be trusted since we all knew fingerprints were taken from realtors and also background checks were done....she even told us that!!!!
