Anyone have a grip on what is happening with interest rates? They are so low now, do you think they will drop anymore, or go up again in the near future. I know, no one has a crystal ball.

We are starting our house hunt this weekend in the Sacramento area, not sure if housing is going do drop more, and whats the deal with interest rates. We are retired and on a pretty fixed income, have about half down, though...not looking for a mansion, just a decent home in a decent neighborhood at a decent price..

Anyway, just really confused as to should we really jump on something if it seems to be a good fit for us..or is waiting smart?

Find the home of your dreams first. The rates are not going to go low enough change your dream home.
