Unlike someone else, penis size is not something I am an expert on.

There are a lot of wannabee movie stars on the road not just motorcycles with the loud pipes. You have the drivers that drive econo boxes like Hondas and race up the road looking for attention. It's funny they actually think they are cool when another 20 million people have the same econobox Fly past me in a bentley gt, bugatti or a some other high end car then I'll look.

What you said actually makes me sad. There has got be some action going on in Texas to stop this disruptive problem. Whenever I'm at the computer, I wear earplugs and headphones playing noise just to get rid of the sound. I still do this even when the TV is not on.

People with loud exhausts do it because they are sheep. Herding instincts make them do it "because everybody else" is doing it.

Neither of my bikes have a loud exhaust but I certainly don't blame those that do with the way people refuse to recognize a motorcycle on the streets.

I don't know how many times drivers have looked right at me and still cut right in front of me.

If the loud exhaust gets their attention even if its to make someone think the cyclist would follow them to punch them, all the better.

Everybody south of an 18 wheeler gets cut off too. Maybe except the cops.

I nod to bikers with a smile, to let them know, with no doubt,
'I SEE YOU! You're ok.'
Sometimes I want to tell them..."I almost didn't see you because your
clothes are
the color of the pavement....hows about something we can see easier!
Because, I love ya and it's your life."

I'm not understanding how their mufflers are a 'warning'...I can't hear them
in my car coming towards me as I want to turn left.
It's the residential homes that suffer the noise....maybe someone walking along talking to a friend.

Come to think of it, I need another Harley sticker for my other vehicle.

Are you sure they aren't looking in your direction but didn't see you?
If you are right I am amazed...and don't get it at all, why would they want to create an accident?
Problems all around! Tickets, court, bodyshop, delay, lawsuit....death on your hands!!
That's why I can't believe someone would be so stupid, but I believe you.

I look always...even have stickers on my trash cans..."Look for Bikers"...meaning
all of them, on anything!
And I still have a hard time if they blend into the background with no white,
yellow or other noticeable clothing. Their headlamps in the day are sometimes very dim.

I have been able to make drivers on their cell phones hang up by dropping a gear with straight pipes on the highway.

The look on their face is priceless, but at least they know i am there!

They see me but didn't see me. Anyone that has rode any length of time can tell you the same. I always ride in the daytime with my brights on.

I appreciate your post above and your suggestion of bright clothing is a good one. The vast majority of people drive absolutely fine. It's that few percent that worry's one. LOL

Part of it is on the rider also. You can't ride the same way you drive a car. I've rode on the streets for something like 37 years and never have put one down.

They don't. It's something......I don't know. It's not something anyone does on purpose.

As I said, a very legitimate argument. I won't argue with you there. Some people do ask for the problems they have while riding and some have exhaust louder than need be but some people do like the sound.
