What is considered low mileage on a Harley?
I've been asked to help sell a bike that has been stored for years so even though it's a 2005 it 'only' has 11,000 miles.
NADA and other sites don't allow that option for figuring value like they do for cars and one mentioned that mileage 'isn't that important'.
I know next to nothing about motorcycles so have checked online but all those places only give asking prices, not selling ones.
We want to sell quickly so want to price realistically, not hopefully.
Is the mileage low and/or is it that important?
If you're in Florida I thought you guys rode year round. You're definitely going to need to get a battery currently around it started and hopefully the owner changed the oil regularly while he rode it. 11000 miles on an 05 Fat Boy is real low. You can get a battery for around $80 on Motorcycle Batteries, ATV, Car, Marine, and Solar Battery Products | BatteryStuff.com
I think $10000 for that bike would be a fair price. I ride a 2000 Dyna Wide Glide with 75000 miles and she treats me fine.
IMHO - Proper maintenance with records is more important than actual miles.
