They're not trying to market to the ADV crowd... they're using the "ADV" image to market to the Starbucks crowd.
No serious ADVer would ride a scooter, you lose too much of your control when you take away the footpegs. Can't stand up and steer with your feet? Not gonna do well in technical stuff.
Yeah I guess. I don't think anybody ever really bought the "rugged" personality of those two models though. I had a Chinese knockoff of the Zuma (Bintelli Havoc) and it couldn't have been further out of place as soon as the pavement ended. At least it had a more masculine look than your Vespa, Honda Metropolitan, Yamaha Vino, Genuine Buddy/Stella, etc. This isn't at all a bad thing for male riders, by the way. And in hindsight it was a pretty capable scooter and was responsible for introducing me to the awesome world of motorcycles. I just think it's a bit of a stretch to attach the "ADV" label to something like this....just one man's opinion.

Yep, This is for the Starbucks crowd to venture down dirt roads, if you happen to have dirt roads in your neck of the woods. Does it come with a cup holder and a hook for your purse.
