Really people who say " get a real bike" and than post a motorcycle link___ gets old.

How about people out there who are not like you and want to just roll the throttle and go. Some people like to not shift, have good storage under the seat and have multiple leg positions. Its not a simple concept to understand.

BTW, I have been riding motorcycles in the past for over 10 years. I quit and went to the scooter side, its just or more fun and actually more freedom feeling.

Yep, I own a Ninja and a scooter, and right now the Ninja has cobwebs on it because I never ride it. It’s just so much more enjoyable riding the scoot and not having to worry about shifting gears.

What I’d really like to have is a Honda NC700 with the DCT, but I never see used ones available in my area.

I like the NC700X DCT. Honda just announced the NC750X last week. Maybe the NC700X DCT will go down in price. What swayed me from a MC is the need to buy accessories, storage, AC outlet, insurance cost and having to throw my leg over. I wanted a Honda X-ADV or Integra, but Honda doesn't bring this model to the US.

50 years of riding here and I see way more people going from bikes to scooters than the other way around. I personally haven't made the switch,................yet.

How is shifting gears annoying ? I had a scooter and hated not having gears, just sitting atop of a piece of plastic is all it felt like. No connection with the bike.
