I never thought I would see anyone make a post on the notorious "It's Alive!".
Urban legend has it that anyone who sits through the entire movie without falling asleep will be cosmically rewarded by winning the lottery or being visited by Publisher's Clearing House with an oversized check.
Anyway, this was the handiwork of schlock director Larry Buchanan. What is there to say? The film does have the look of an amateur film made with shoddy hand-held camera; The monster is preposterous; The film is a surefire cure for amnesia.
There was a movie from the 70's also named "It's Alive" but it has no connection with this film. That version was a Larry Cohen film about a killer baby. I'm not aware of any version of the original "It's Alive" from the 2000's.
Anyway, thank you OP for an interesting and amusing trip down memory lane. For anyone interested, I present....
